Club Training

Club training events occur throughout the year and are intended to increase your orienteering skills. For example:

  • you have been doing a lot of yellow / moderately easy courses, and like to move up to orange or
  • you have been doing a lot of orange / moderately hard courses, but find you start doubting yourself and do not continue long enough i the right direction or
  • you have started on red courses but find it hard to read vague contours.

Training can be one-on-one, in small groups or self-guided, and is often done at a slower pace than an event, so the focus is on learning a new skill, or re-inforcing an existing skill.

Club training is specifically for members of NOC and MOC.
